Maranatha Meadows is the home of the beautiful Maranatha Welsh Ponies that you're here to see. We are a family-run farm that places emphasis not only selective breeding that produces extremely friendly ponies, but also excellent care of our animals on large pastures.

Situated just 45 miles south of Harrisburg and 50 miles north of Baltimore, we operate solely as a farm, raising our ponies and sheep in the most natural and healthy environment possible. Not only are our animals on pasture for at least 10 to 11 months of the year, but all of the youngsters are also raised in a natural herd environment.

This is me, Betsey Utting, with Dr. Wynne Davies, and his Ceulan Stud. What fabulous ponies he has and, of course, what a wealth of information he is. I had such a wonderful time at his farm.

Here I am in 1987, with my two older daughters, Miranda and Rebecca, driving Miss Raindrop. "Drippy", as I called her, was not only a fabulous children's riding pony, but also a superb driving pony. She could trot three miles in 10 minutes flat, even with three of us in tow. I drove her many miles on back country roads in Bradford County, PA. She is still doing her thing at 26 years old, for another mother and her little daughter in northern Maryland.

At nine years old, my youngest daughter, Mollie, riding our little imported Section A mare, *Ceulan Roma, (Yaverland Nero X Ceulan Romance). Mollie started riding Roma in 2005, when Roma was just three years old. Roma is an incredibly quiet and cooperative little pony, and never needed any real training, as she always did what she was asked without any hesitation. A perfect child's pony!

Ezra Utting, aged 11, riding Maranatha Promise, a broodmare of ours that he used in Pony Club and competed with for two years. She did very well, including highest single dressage score at the Maryland Region, D Dressage Rally in 2003, winning the blue with their team that day. In fall of 2002 and their first time out at the Iron Bridge Horse trial, they came in first in their division. They also won the blue in their division at Full Moon Farms Horse Trial in spring of 2003, among many other wins.
